An Oasis Of Opulence in South Korea

South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea (or ROK) and often referred to as Korea is a presidential republic in East Asia, occupying the southern half of the Korean Peninsula. Also known as the "Land of the Morning Calm", it is neighbored by China to the west, Japan to the east and North Korea to the north. South Korea's capital and largest city is Seoul, the world's second largest metropolitan city.

With sunny and blue sky, South Korea comes to its full form in autumn, from September to November. But if skiing and exploring snow clad temples are your preferences; winter would be the best time for you to explore the country. Since, the country is well-connected with the rest of the world by air and train; hence, travelers can easily come to the country.





A number of events in South Korea showcase its vibrancy. Seollal is held on the first day of the first moon. The Cherry Blossom Festival usually comes in early April. Buddha’s Birthday is celebrated with Lantern parades, while the Dano Festival and National Folk Arts Festival are organized in the months of June and September respectively. Above all, Chuseok is the biggest holiday in the country.

Some famous sites are also there in South Korea. These are like Dadohae Haesang National Park, Dodong Mineral Spring Park, Gyeongbokgung, Korean Folk Village and Seongnamsa. Shopping is another enticement here. Especially, Korean Ginseng, Amethyst, Honey, Kimchi would be an ideal souvenir for the travelers in the country. Apart from that, there is no dearth of fashionable shops and boutiques in the country.

South Korea hotels, on the other hand, offers guests comfortable accommodation, which would make everyone’s vacation more enchanting. It has a very advanced and modern infrastructure and is a world leader in information technology such as electronics, semiconductors, LCD displays, computers and mobile phones, led by Samsung and LG. Home of the world's third largest steel producer, POSCO, it is the world's largest shipbuilder, the world's fourth largest oil refiner and one of the top five automobile producers in the world, headed by Hyundai and Kia. It is also a leading country in engineering, construction, machinery, textiles, petrochemicals, biotechnology and robotics.
